Deep blue in colour, the blouse is straight and square cut with a point collar and generous long sleeves cuffed with a single button.  Five fabric covered buttons close the front of the blouse.  Over the body of the fabric using a satin blue ribbon is stitched a series of star flowers and a leaf pattern around which the fabric is cut in a hole the shape of a tear drop and overlocked to reveal bare skin.
