Made from 100% silk, this tie is very fine to the touch.  The body of the tie is black in colour with a printed flower head in pale gold and wheat.  The tie is then banded by a wheat pattern in vertical lines, a thin black band, a black, cream and soft gray circles and strokes pattern, another wheat band ending with a soft gray and black interweave pattern.  Soft peach lining bearing the 'Guy Laroche' branding and Italian square design.  Colour is more gold than depicted in photographs.
