Made in Germany by Hugo Boss this classic cut suit is a soft black leaning towards a coal charcoal in colour with a box pattern in a softer, lighter check . The suit fabric is lightweight in fine 90% wool but warm to the touch.
The jacket is double breasted closing with one single lower tortoiseshell button. Six buttons in all decorate the front of the jacket. Three smaller similar buttons are on each sleeve cuff. Alternate lapel buttonhole left or right. One breast pocket with two lip hip pockets all generous in size. Two front darts. No back vent. The jacket is fully lined in a khaki pewter lining with two inner generous button down breast pockets, one pen pocket and one smaller pocket at thigh level. Inner pockets are in black cotton. Hugo Boss label inside back at neck line.
The pants are a classic style cut, 3.5cm waistband with belt loops securing with a inner metal clasp (Boss branded) and single tortoiseshell button. Black front zipper with metal clasp again branded with 'Boss'. There are two inverted pleats which form the press of the trouser legs and angled front lip pockets sit slightly in from the side seam. Two lip back pockets with buttons to close. No cuffs. Generous hem for lengthening if required. Off white viscose lining and white cotton inners.
